Identifying and Interpreting Clouds Webinar (Feb 17)

ssuWednesday February 17, 2016 at 5:00PM PST

Course Fee: $30.00

Want to cruise safer, faster with more comfort? Knowing more about marine weather is the answer?

In this module, Lee discusses the three main cloud groups and the eleven specific cloud types. He will discuss how clouds are formed and how they signal changes in the weather.

Clouds and in particular certain sequences of clouds are indicators of what changes you can expect in the weather. They are useful in confirming or questioning the weather forecasts from external sources. They can help you fine tune your own onboard weather forecast or consider local conditions that may be effecting the sky around your boat.

The intent is to achieve a near classroom environment with these webinars, so be ready to participate and interact with Lee with questions, polls and exercises.
