Surface Pressure Map Reinforcement Workshop (8am-11am)
This reinforcement workshop takes a closer look at and examines more in-depth Surface Pressure Maps with a variety of hands-on practice exercises.

500 mb Reinforcement Workshop (11:30am-2:30pm)
We will breakdown the different components of a 500 mb chart, considered to be the holy grail of weather forecasting, and then go deeper into your understanding of weather forecasting; Specifically in addition to the 500 mb station plot, we will delve into the components of a 500 mb chart (altitude versus pressure); iso-height contours, wind barbs & their spacing, iso-height labeling.

Understanding Weather and Cruise Decision Making Workshop (3pm-6pm)
Offshore Blue Water Cruising on the high seas waters always involves receiving the marine weather forecast issued from NOAA or other government agencies such as Environment Canada. We will delve into integrating the core weather maps for vessel forecasting and route decision making inclusive of 500 mb, surface pressure, & wind/wave analyses & forecast charts.
