Precision Technical Sewing

Dear Lee,

I’ll never forget the first time I attended one of your weather seminars in the San Francisco Bay Area. It was truly an epiphany for me. You did a fantastic job of giving a presentation that satisfied both the experienced sailors while at the same time explaining the weather charts at a level basic enough for me, a fairly new sailor, to understand. Weather charts had always been a mystery to me before your seminar. Over the years I (and crew members and sailing partners) have tried to attend your seminars whenever possible to take advantage of your vast knowledge and ability to disseminate information in a logical, informative and very interesting manner. Synthia Petroka and I (Team Dollz with Ballz) attended your Corinthian YC Seminar before the Pacific Cup race to Hawaii in 2004 and the knowledge we gained from that seminar was one of the factors key to our winning the double-handed division that year. One of the many things that separates you from other weather experts is your ability to convey weather information that is absolutely pertinent and useful to sailors. Your passion and extreme expertise make you, in my opinion, easily the top weather instructor around. You are the highest standard by which all others should be judged. How fortunate for the sailing community that you have chosen to instruct full time. I look forward to seeing you at your next SF Bay Area seminar!

Warmest Regards,
Sylvia Seaberg
